10x Optical Zoom Lens

The zoom can be adjusted to any setting in the 38 mm to 380 mm range in 35 mm film equivalent terms. The maximum aperture is f/2.8 (wide angle) - f/3.1 (telephoto).

Image Stabilizer

This camera uses a CompactFlash^TM (CF) Card as the recording media. This camera is equipped with one CF card slot. This camera supports CF card both Type I and Type II. A 32MB CF Type I card is included in the camera kit.

LCD Monitor

The LCD monitor can be used to check an image during shooting, to play back recorded images or to adjust menu settings. The LCD monitor has a field of vision of 100% of the actual shooting image.

The LCD monitor can be opened right to left 180 degrees, tilted forward 180 degrees toward the lens or backward 90 degrees. The LCD monitor will automatically turn off when it clicks shut against the camera body.

Color LCD Viewfinder

		If the surroundings are too bright and images on the LCD monitor are not clear, use the viewfinder. The viewfinder has a field of vision of 100% of the actual shooting image.
	Adjust the viewfinder focus with the diopter adjustment dial so the displayed information appears clearly.
