6 Scene Modes Make It Easy to Shoot

6 scene modes are provided for effective shooting by simply selecting a mode according to the scene.

Digital Macro	Trims the center of the image and enlarges using the digital zoom; so that the subject can be photographed larger than by a normal macro shooting.
Portrait	Produces a soft effect when photographing people.
Night Snapshot	Use this to take snapshots of people against twilight or night backgrounds to reduce the effects of camera shake even without using a tripod.
Kids & Pets	Allows you to capture subjects that move around, such as children and pets, without missing photo opportunities.
Indoor	Prevents camera shake and maintains the subject’s true color when shooting under florescent or tungsten lightning.

Visibility has been improved by employing an easily viewable larger 2.0-inch type LCD monitor and displaying characters and icons at larger size. In addition, using animation to guide settings operations* resulted in improvement in operability and prevention of operational mistakes.

Easy Printing Using the Print/Share Button

Simply connect the camera to a Canon Direct Photo Printer or PictBridge compliant printer, press the lighted Print/Share button and print. Also use the Print/Share button to transfer images directly to a computer (Windows only).

Clock Mode with 12 Color Variations

With the Intelligent Orientation Sensor* geared to the clock display function, the display orientation changes according to the camera's orientation. The display color changes** when the camera is lightly shook. Also, even with the lens retracted, you can run the clock mode alone. This enables users to use the camera to check the time, the same as with cellular phones.

* This sensor detects the camera's orientation (vertical/horizontal) using the Intelligent Orientation Sensor.
